This is the formally lost film Abra Cadabra from 1983 that I helped restore. I know it looks rough, but it's the best that it has ever looked thus far, and I only had a VHS rip from 1983 to work with. I color corrected it, cleaned the audio, and sliced it back together with Davinci Resolve. I do not own the copyright for this film. This was simply a fun project.
Here's my entry to the 2015 Reel East Film Festival. "Sliver" Is about a young woman who encounters a skull shaped tree growth in the woods. It took about three months to shoot and edit this one due to time constraints. I used my brand new HD camera for it, adobe premiere, my sister's help, and music by Tom Quick. This baby was shown in the REFF at about 10:30 in the morning, but hey, at least they showed it. :) Needless to say I'm very proud of it, and thankful that they showed it at all.
Here's my demo reel for 2014.
Viewing the Viewer is my most recent video and was my final for video imaging tech 2. It took me about three months to storyboard, shoot, and edit. I made the props (arms), and used Final Cut Pro 7 to edit this time around. My mom came up with the idea and I took the time to make the music and sound effects (audio sauna) for this one. So this video is 100% mine.
Ah The Story of Ricky takes me back. I loved this film, and still do, so I took the movie and edited a fan made trailer for it for my video imaging tech 2 class. I used Adobe Premiere for this one. This was purely an editing exercise, I DO NOT own the audio or footage used in this video.
Here's a video consisting completely of stop motion that I made for my video imaging tech 1 class. I made the stop motion figure, effects, used Photoshop to remove the wires, edited everything, came up with the concept, storyboards, and shot the entire video. My sister Meghan was the disembodied face and did the makeup herself while looking at my storyboards. She did a wonderful job. I DO NOT own the music in this video, I just did the visuals. I hope you like it!
This was another assignment which I needed to complete in my video imaging 1 class in college. It's a dreamlike montage of my morning routine with a little stop motion thrown in there. I DO NOT own the music for this video, however I did come up with the concept, make storyboards, shoot, and edit this one by myself in Adobe Premiere.
Here's my first video that I helped make for video imaging 1. I worked in a group with Ezequiel Gonzales and Mike Tartaglia for this one. We were told to make a story with pictures only and I think that we did a pretty good job. Mike stars, Ezequiel edited, and I came up with the concept, shot video with them, provided the camera, and built the model of "The Creature". We DO NOT own the music or sound effects used here.
Here's a video that I helped make with my pals Kevin Fox and Mat for my Video Production 2 class. I helped with the script, made the storyboards, made the very cheesy graphics, and shot this video. Kevin provided the camera. We used Final Cut Pro 7 and tiny bit of after effects. I love Kevin's voice over here, it's a real treat. It took only two hours to shoot and about 3 days in post. We DO NOT own the music in this video. The cereal was nothing more than milk and smarties, delicious.
I helped make this one with Eric Pablo Yumet back in Video Production 2 as well. He did most of the editing and provided the camera while I wrote the came up with the concept, script, storyboards, and the props used. We used Final Cut Pro 7 for the editing in this video. He did a great job with the editing here, also loved the cameo by his parents! He certainly was professional, and a special thanks to my friends Marty (enthusiastic guy with blond hair) and Molly (lady in Magneto helmet) for volunteering to be extras. We DO NOT own the music used in this video.
